This article covers how to setup the Elsema Receiver & remotes and pair them with the receiver installed in the Sigma Gate.
Please note that this is our Generation 3 Receiver/Remote Control set with 4-channels.
1. Wire the Receiver to Sigma Gate Control Board
*Please note that the terminals are misaligned to the labels on the blue face, it is important to count the terminals as displayed above.
Connecting Power
- Open the Sigma gate panel.
- Connect Supply + to 12v on the Sigma control board.
- Connect Supply - to Ground on the Sigma control board.
Relay 1 (Auto-Close)
- Connect Ch1 NO to Front Open on the Sigma control board.
- Connect Ch1 C to Ground on the Sigma control board.
Relay 4 (Latched/Cleaning Mode)
*Please note that on a 3 gate store this will only be required on one receiver
- Connect Ch4 NO to Cleaning on the Sigma control board.
- Connect Ch4 C to Ground on the Sigma control board.
2. Mount the Receiver
- Mount the receiver using the mounting screw holes circled in red.
3. Set the DIP Switches & Pair Remotes
- Change Mode Selection on the 6 DIP switches (outlined in red below) to OFF OFF OFF ON OFF OFF or Down Down Down Up Down Down.
- On all receivers set switches 1-10 (outlined in green below) to match the store number using the examples in the table below. As an example if the store has a number 8 in the store number set DIP switch 8 to the ON/Up position and ignore any zeros in the store number. If the store has the same number more than once like 8888 only switch 8 must be set to ON/Up and rest will be down/off.
- For Gate 1 using button 1 on the remote for auto-close and button 4 on the remote for Cleaning Mode set DIP switches 11 to OFF/DOWN and 12 to OFF/down as shown below.
- For Gate 2 using button 2 on the remote for auto-close set DIP switches 11 to ON/Up and 12 to OFF/DOWN on the receiver as shown below.
- For the gate that will be using cleaning Mode button 3 on the remote for auto-close and button 4 on the remote for Cleaning Mode set DIP switches 11 to OFF/DOWN and 12 to ON/Up on the receiver as shown below.
- Set all remote 1-10 DIP switches to match the receiver/store code and set DIP switch 11 to OFF/Down and 12 to OFF/Down.
- Set DIP switches in the remote 1-10 exactly the same as the receiver and set switches 11 and 12 to OFF.
- Lastly insert the battery in the remote and test.
